Released in Australia in April 2004, the Ford WP Fiesta was available as a three- or five-door hatchback. Released in March 2006, the Ford WQ Fiesta introduced revised styling and improved equipment levels. The WQ Fiesta could be identified by its revised headlights, bumpers, grille, cabin trim, fascia and thicker side mouldings; Ghia variants also received chrome-ringed tail-lights. In March 2007, the WQ Fiesta range was expanded with the introduction of a five-door Zetec variant, while the Fiesta XR4 followed in June 2007.
