2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio: vehicle jack did not comply with labelling requirement

In November 2018, recall campaign 8234 was issued for 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. For these vehicles, the label on the jack did not comply with the relevant Consumer Product Safety Standard because it was missing some of the required information. As such, the occupant may misuse the jack and this posed a risk of serious injury or death. For the VINs of the recalled Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles, please see PRA 2018/17174.

2018-19 Alfa Romeo Stelvio: Adaptive Cruise Control may not deactivate

In March 2019, recall campaign 8238 was issued for Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles that had Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) were available for sale in Australia prior to 4 March 2019. In specific driving conditions, it may not be possible to cancel the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). As such, the vehicle may continue accelerate notwithstanding that the driver had applied the brakes – this posed a hazard to vehicle occupants and other road users. To fix, the vehicle was to have its ACC software updated. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see PRA 2019/17415.

2017-19 Alfa Romeo Stelvio: inaccurate fuel reading

In August 2019, recall campaign 8242 was issued for Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles that were available for sale from 20 January 2017 to 29 July 2019. In these vehicles, the instrument panel may show more fuel than what is actually present in the fuel tank. If the vehicle were to run out of fuel, the engine would shut down – this would increase the risk of a collision and pose a hazard to vehicle occupants and other road users. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see PRA 2019/17721.
