  • In April 1997, a recall was issued for 1996 model year Jeep ZG Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured prior to 30 April 1996 and fitted with power adjustable driver’s seats with memory settings. • In September 1998, a recall was issued for 1997 and 1998 Jeep ZG Grand Cherokee models due to the fuel gauge displaying an inaccurate fuel level, caused by failure of the fuel tanking sending unit (PRA 1998/3638).
  • In July 1997, a recall was issued for Jeep ZG Grand Cherokee vehicles due to the airbag control module potentially causing inadvertent deployment of the airbag during a three second period after the ignition was switched off (PRA 1997/3229).
  • In August 2014, a recall was issued for ZG Grand Cherokee vehicles that were manufactured from 1993 to 1998.
