Recalls: Nissan R20 Terrano II

  • In June 1999, a recall was issued for Nissan R20 Terrano II vehicles in the VIN range VSK TVUR 20A 0364762 to VSK TVUR 20A 0377101. In these vehicles, the owners manual handbook was applicable to vehicles in another market and did not contain some of the specific information for Australia such as child restraint anchorage points (PRA 1999/3961).
  • In June 2000, a recall was issued for Nissan R20 Terrano II vehicles manufactured between January 1995 and March 1997 and in the VIN range VSK TVUR 20U0 243900 to VSK TVUR 20U0 307301. In these vehicles, the brake pipe from the front distribution line to the rear pressure regulation valve may interfere with the vehicle floor – this could lead to wear, perforation of the pipe and brake fluid leakage (PRA 2000/4363).
