Recalls: Renault X70 Master cab chassis

In January 2005, a recall was issued for Renault X70 Master cab chassis vehicles due to the steering wheel mounting nut being inadequately tightened; this could potentially affect the control of the vehicle (PRA 2005/7501).
In September 2006, a recall was issued for Renault X70 Master cab chassis vehicles due to possible cracking of the rear handbrake lever, which could weaken the lever and cause the handbrake cable to be released (PRA 2006/8753). Vehicles affected by the recall were in the following VIN ranges:
- VF1FDBMDH50634589 to VF1FDBMDH50635063;
- VF1FDCMH650634569 to VF1FDCMH650634582;
- VF1FDCMLH50634596 to VF1FDCMLH50634619;
- VF1FDCML650634583 to VF1FDCML660636082; and,
- VF1UDCMKH50635066 to VF1UDCMKH50635069.
