Overview

Released in October 2003, the Daihatsu L880 Copen was a two-seat convertible with a folding hard-top roof. Manufactured in Japan, the front wheel drive Copen was powered by a 659 cc turbocharged JB-DET three-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

The Copen was 3395 mm long, 1475 mm wide, 1260 mm tall and had a 2230 mm long wheelbase. Furthermore, the Copen had MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle with trailing arms.
