Released in September 2010, the Audi R8 Spyder was a mid-engined, high performance convertible. Released in March 2013, the 2013 Audi R8 introduced sevens-speed double clutch transmissions (Audi’s ‘S-Tronic’) and subtle cosmetic updates. Visually, the 2013 R8 Spyder could be identified by its standard LED headlights, new rear indicator lights, single frame grille with beveled upper corners (and painted high-gloss black) and new front bumper.
