Released in November 2005, the Chrysler LX Series I (LX.I) 300C was initially available as a large sedan, with the 300C Touring (wagon) following in 2006. Manufactured in Graz, Austria, the rear-wheel drive 300C was initially available with 3.5-litre V6 and 5.7-litre V8 petrol engines. Released in March 2008, the Chrysler LX Series II (LX.II) 300C introduced additional safety equipment and an updated interior. The Chrysler LX.II 300C could be identified by its new tail-lights and reshaped bootlid (with spoiler for sedan models). Inside, there was a revised instrument panel and centre console design, soft-touch armrests and door panels, silver trim and LED lighting in the front cupholders and door pockets.
