Released in October 2002, the Ford BA Mark I (BA.I) Falcon Ute was available with either a cab chadswas or integrated Styleside box body. Released in October 2004, the Ford BA Mark II (BA.II) Falcon Ute introduced improved equipment levels and a six-speed manual transmission. The range itself was substantially unchanged, though the Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission was available in the XR6 Turbo and XR8 variants.
