Released in January 2012, the Ford VM Series II (VM.II) Transit cab chadswas was powered by a new 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine which produced peak power and torque of 114 kW at 3500 rpm and 385 Nm at 1600-2300 rpm, respectively.
