Released in August 2003, the Holden VY Series II (VY.II) Berlina introduced a more powerful V8 engine due to the fitment of a twin exhaust system and all engines were recalibrated to satisfy emissions requirements, with the V6 engines fitted with revised exhaust systems. The Holden VY.II Berlina could be identified by its twin fog lamps, black lower fascia mouldings and nine-spoke wheels.
