Released in Australia in May 2018, the Kia YP Series II (YP.II) Carnival introduced styling updates, improved safety equipment, additional features and ‘optimised’ shock absorber and spring rates. Visually, the Kia YP.II Carnival could be identified by its revised ‘tiger nose’ grille, sleeker headlight clusters that swept into the grille and, below the grille, character panel and lower air intake with integrated fog lights. At the rear, the lower tailgate panel and rear three-quarter panels were also revised.
