Released in Australia in early 2016, the Mahindra W8 Series II (W8.II) XUV500 introduced new styling and additional features. The Mahindra W8.II XUV500 could be identified by its new front grille with chrome inserts, static bending projector headlights with light guides, new bonnet and bumper, fog lamps with chrome bezels, chrome window lining, a chrome rear applique and new alloy wheel designs. Inside, the W8.II XUV500 introduced an 18 centimetre (seven-inch) touch screen.
