Released in Australia in August 1987, the Maserati 425i was a rear-wheel drive, luxury sedan. Manufactured in Modena, Italy, the 425i was powered by a 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine with three valves per cylinder, twin overhead camshafts, Weber electronic injection, two IHI turbochargers and air-to-air intercoolers.
