Released in June 1996, the Mazda EC Eunos 30X was a small, three-door liftback. Manufactured in Hiroshima, the front-wheel drive Eunos 30X was powered by a 1.8-litre V6 petrol engine – with double overhead cams, a variable length intake manifold and a 7000rpm redline – that was mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
