Released in May 2011, the Mercedes-Benz S204 Series II (S204.II) C-Class Estate introduced a revised range, additional features and cosmetic updates. Fuel economy was also improved as the seven-speed 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission was made standard across the range, while the C 200 CDI BlueEfficiency and C 250 CDI BlueEfficiency featured idle-stop. The Mercedes-BenzS204.II C-Class Estate could be identified by its reshaped bumpers, air intakes, bonnet contours in the area around the headlights and radiator grille and revised headlight lenses. Inside, there was a new dashboard with grained surface and decorative trim, instrument cluster with integral display and, for Avantgarde variants, a new steering wheel.
