Released in Australia in September 2013, the Mercedes W212 Series II (W212.II) E-Class AMG range was reduced to a single variant: the E 63 AMG S. The W212.II E 63 AMG S introduced updated styling, an upgraded interior and a range of ‘intelligent drive’ technologies which would be shared with the W222 S-Class. The Mercedes W212.II E 63 AMG S could be identified by its new headlights with partial LED lights and a single headlamp lens (full LED headlights were available as an option), redesigned bonnet, new bumpers, ‘twin blade’ radiator grille, side air intakes with black flics and new tail-lights with horizontally structured LEDs.
