Released in March 1994, the Peugeot 605 was a large, luxury vehicle. Manufactured in France, the front-wheel drive 605 was powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. For Australia, the SV was the sole 605 variant offered. While the Peugeot 605 was available in international markets from 1989, it was not available in Australia until March 1994.
