Released in June 2010, the Peugeot T8 Phase I (T8.I) 3008 was a compact, front-wheel drive SUV. Manufactured in Sochaux, France, the T8 3008 was available with a choice of three engines: a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.6- or 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. Transmission choices consisted of a six-speed manual, six speed automatic and Peugeot’s ‘EGC’ semi-automatic transmission (with automatic and clutchless manual modes). Released in Australia in March 2015, the Peugeot T8 Phase II (T8.II) 3008 introduced a simplified range that consisted of Active editions, offered with 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol or 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engines. The Peugeot T8.II 3008 could be identified by its new headlights, fog lights, re-shaped grille and tail-lights. Inside, the Peugeot T8.II 3008 featured dual rear underfloor stowage areas.
