Released in August 2009, the Skoda 1Z Series II (1Z.II) Octavia RS introduced new names for its variants (125TDI and 147TSI replacing 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI, respectively) and cosmetic updates. The Skoda 1Z.II Octavia RS could be identified by its new grille, front bumper and quarter panels, wider air intake, head- and tail-lights, fog lights, daytime-running lights and larger door mirrors. Inside, there was a new dashboard, centre console and air conditioning controls.
