Released in March 2007, the Ssangyong Q100 Series Mk.I (Q100.I) Actyon Sports was a dual cab utility. Manufactured in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, the Q100 Actyon Sports was powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that was mated to either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. Released in May 2008, the Ssangyong Q100 Series Mk.II (100.II) Actyon Sports introduced a revised range, Euro IV emissions compliant engines and a six-speed automatic transmission (with steering wheel gearshift buttons and a ‘winter mode’ second gear take-off function). Whereas the Ssangyong Q100.I Actyon Sports range consisted of entry-level and Limited variants, the entry-level variant was renamed the ‘Tradie’ for the Q100.II Actyon Sports range. Furthermore, the Limited was replaced by the SPR and the range was expanded with an unnamed, mid-range variant.
