Released in August 2012, the Suzuki JT Series II (JT.II) Grand Vitara introduced a revised range which included rear-wheel drive Urban variants. The Suzuki JT.II Grand Vitara could be identified by its new front grille and bumper, alloy wheel designs and darker headlight surrounds. In October 2014, the Suzuki JT.II Grand Vitara range was revised as the five-door Urban, DDwas and Prestige variants were discontinued.
