Released in September 2015, the Suzuki LY Vitara was a compact SUV. Manufactured in Hungary, the Suzuki Vitara was powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine that was mated to either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The Suzuki LY Series II (LY.II) Vitara was released in Australia in January 2019. Visually, the LY.II Vitara could be identified by its redesigned front grille and lower bumper, and new LED tail lights. Inside, there were new seat trims, a front sliding armrest, soft touch material for the upper instrument panel and a new instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch colour display.
