Released in February 2011, the Suzuki Mk.6 Series I (Mk.6-I) Swift was a small, five-door hatchback. The front-wheel drive Mk.6 Swift was initially powered by a 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Released in October 2013, the Suzuki Mk.6 Series II (Mk.6-II) Swift introduced a revised range as the GA variant was discontinued and a Navigator variant was introduced. The Suzuki Mk.6-II Swift could be identified by its revised front bumper, grille, front fog lights and LED daytime running lights (where fitted).
