Released in Australia in February 2015, the Volkswagen Mk.6 Series II (Mk.6-II) Jetta introduced a revised range as entry-level Trendline editions were introduced and the 147TSI variant was replaced by the 155TSI. The Volkswagen Mk.6-II Jetta could be identified by its new radiator grille with three horizontal fines, re-profiled front bumper, redesigned boot lid with an aerodynamically efficient lip (which extended into the wings at the side), new tail lights and a revised rear bumper. According to Volkswagen, the changes contributed to an overall improvement in aerodynamic efficiency of 10 per cent.
