Recalls: Audi C4 100

  • In February 1993, a recall was issued for Audi C4 100 vehicles due to potential brake failure if the vacuum system was not modified. The affected vehicles were in the VIN range WAU ZZZ 4AZMM 011549 to WAU ZZZ 4AZNN 058208 (PRA 1993/1833).

Problems and faults: Audi C4 100

  • Driving with less than 12 litres of fuel in the tank may cause the malfunction indicator to illuminate due to a lean misfire.
  • The fuel gauge may provide inaccurate readings due to a loose earth wire at the left taillight.
