Recalls: Honda FK2/FK3 Civic Hatch

Overview

Manufacturers, or importers, issue recalls for defects or faults which have the potential to cause injury. Generally, manufacturers will inform the original buyers if their vehicle is subject to a recall and of the steps required to remedy the defect or fault. Please note that the recalls below (if any) are for Australian-delivered vehicles only. Recalls: Honda FK2/FK3 Civic Hatch

In November 2015, a recall was issued for 2015 ‘model year’ Honda Mk.9 Civic Hatch vehicles because they were supplied with European Union (EU) owner’s manuals. As a result, the owner’s manuals did not have the requisite warnings for:

  • ALR/ELR warning information;
  • Rear centre anchor point installation; and,
  • Maximum towing weight.
