Recalls: Honda FK4/FK5 Civic Hatch

In July 2020, recall campaign 6FE was issued for 2018-19 model year Honda FK4/FK5 Civic Hatch vehicles and this recall was updated in June 2021. Due to an improper manufacturing process, a component within the fuel pump could swell and cause the fuel pump to become inoperative. If the fuel pump stopped working, the engine could stall while driving – this could increase the risk of a collision and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-000585.

2021-22 Honda FK4/FK5 Civic: window tint may be too dark

In January 2023, recall campaign 6WX was issued for 2021-22 Honda FK4/FK5 Civic Hatches. Where Honda Genuine accessory window tint was applied to the front (door) side windows, it may not meet specifications. Specifically, the tint may be too dark and reduce visibility. This condition could increase the risk of a collision and, therefore, the risk of injury to vehicle occupants and other road users. To fix, a Honda Dealer was to remove the tint and provide a refund for teh cost of the tint that was applied to the front door (side) windows. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-005592.
