Recalls: Honda RM1/RM4/RE6 CR-V

Manufacturers, or importers, issue recalls for defects or faults which have the potential to cause injury. Recalls: Honda RM1/RM4/RE6 CR-V

  • In June 2015, a recall was issued for Honda CR-V vehicles that were fitted with Honda’s ‘Collision Mitigation Braking System’ (CMBS). In rare cases, the CMBS may interpret inanimate roadside objects as obstacles and apply emergency braking, increasing the risk of a collision (PRA 2015/14764). The recalled CR-V vehicles had VINs in the following ranges:
    • 2014 YM CR-V DTi-LT: SHSR36860EU400103 to SHSRE6860EU400103;
    • 2014YM CR-V VTi-LT: MRHRN4890EP040001 to MRHRM4890EP041712; and,
    • 2015YM CR-V VTi-LT: MRHRM4890FP060151 to MRHRM4890FP062000.
