Recalls: Hyundai FO Trajet
Overview
Manufacturers, or importers, issue recalls for defects or faults which have the potential to cause injury. Recalls: Hyundai FO Trajet
Hyundai Trajet: child restraint anchors
In November 2000, a recall was issued for Hyundai FO Trajet vehicles due to 8mm threaded child restraint anchors having been fitted in lieu of 5/16 UNC threaded anchor points in certain vehicles (PRA 2000/4563).
Hyundai Trajet V6: crankshaft position sensor
In March 2002, a recall was issued for Hyundai FO Trajet models fitted with the 2.7-litre V6 petrol engine and produced from 31 March 2000 to 28 February 2001 due to incorrectly manufactured crankshaft position sensors; these could lead to the engine stalling (PRA 2002/5223).
2001-02 Hyundai Trajet: potential fuel leak
In November 2003, a recall was issued for Hyundai FO Trajet models produced from 1 October 2001 to 9 November 2002 for potential discharge of fuel from a canister in front of the left-hand wheel. This condition only occurred after the vehicle was parked on a downhill gradient (facing forward) and with an excessively full tank of fuel (PRA 2003/6587).

Hyundai Trajet: throttle pedal may crack
In 2009, Hyundai UK issued a ‘non-code action’ for Hyundai Trajet vehicles that were manufactured from 23 August 1999 to 4 May 2007. For affected Hyundai Trajet vehicles, the throttle pedal could crack (NCA/2009/010).
