Lexus AL10 RX 350: steering column rattle
In May 2011, Lexus USA issued service bulletin Service Bulletin L-SB-0026-11 for 2010-11 model year Lexus AL10 RX 350 vehicles. In these vehicles, there may be a rattling noise from the electric power steering column when the steering wheel is turned and/or when driving on rough surfaces. A new EPS steering column assembly was introduced to fix this condition and could be fitted to affected RX 350 vehicles.
Lexus AL10 RX 350: wind noise from front side glass
In February 2010, Lexus issued Service Bulletin L-SB-0014-10 Rev1 for 2010 Lexus RX 350 vehicles. The vehicles may exhibit a ‘wind turbulence noise condition’ from the front side window area which was most apparent at highway speeds. New acoustic glass was introduced to improve this condition.
Lexus AL10 RX: windscreen rattle
In May 2010, Lexus issued Lexus Service Bulletin L-SB-0090-08 Rev 1 for pre-2010 Lexus AL10 RX 350, RX 450h vehicles. In these vehicles, a creaking, ticking or rattling noise may be heard at the top or bottom of the windscreen. According to the service bulletin, this may be attributable to:
- The two windscreen stoppers that are bottom to the top of the windscreen; or,
- The windshield retainers which are bonded to the lower edge of the windscreen.
