Lexus XV20 ES 300: DTC P0446
In April 1999, Lexus issued Technical Service Information Bulletin EG002-99 for 1999 model year Lexus XV20 ES 300 vehicles. In these vehicles, the malfunction indicator light (MIL) may illuminate and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0446 may be issued. A vacuum control valve assembly was developed to prevent this condition.
Lexus XV20 ES: front suspension support noise
In December 1999, Lexus issued Technical Service Information Bulletin SU002-99 for 1997-00 model year Lexus XV20 ES 300 vehicles. In these vehicles, a noise may be heard from the front suspension support on ‘washboard type’ road surfaces. As a result, the rubber bushing shape of the suspension support was changed.
