2020 Nissan F16 Juke: vehicle jack did not identify model

In December 2020, recall campaign PG0CK was issued for Nissan F16 Juke vehicles that were available for sale in Australia from 20 May 2020 to 2 September 2020. The jack that was included in these vehicles did not comply with the mandatory standard for vehicles jacks (i.e. ‘Trade Practices Act 1974 Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2010 Consumer Product Safety Standard for Vehicle Jacks’). Specifically, the jack label did not include the required safety markings showing the model or model designation of vehicles for the jack’s intended use as per clause 7.1.2(b), since the jack was not labelled as being for the F16 Juke. The vehicle jack was not to be used for vehicles other than the F16 Juke and the absence of model designation may result in inappropriate use of the jack; this, in turn, may lead to a serious accident or fatality. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see PRA 2020/18727.

2020 Nissan F16 Juke: rear seat lock may not work

In October 2021, recall campaign PG1CE was for 2020 Nissan F16 Juke vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, when the rear seatback was put into the upright position, the seat lock assembly may not lock. In the event of a collision or hard braking, the rear seat lock may not operate properly such that rear seat occupants or items in the luggage compartment may not be restrained – this increased the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-004977.
