Recalls: Rolls-Royce 1S68 Phantom

Overview

Manufacturers, or importers, issue recalls for defects or faults which have the potential to cause injury. Generally, manufacturers will inform the original buyers if their vehicle is subject to a recall and of the steps required to remedy the defect or fault. Recalls: Rolls-Royce 1S68 Phantom

  • In April 2012, a recall was issued for Rolls-Royce Series I Phantom vehicles that were available for prior to 30 November 2009. In these vehicles, engine oil from the brake vacuum pump could enter the brake vacuum line and result in a reduction in power braking assistance (PRA 2012/13108).
  • In November 2015, a recall was issued for Rolls-Royce Series II Phantom vehicles that were available for sale from 1 July 2015 to 30 October 2015. In these vehicles, the curtain airbags may not position correctly on deployment, increasing the risk of injury to occupants (PRA 2015/15073).
