Recalls: Toyota XP130 Yaris
Overview

2019 Toyota XP130 Yaris: rear window glass not tempered properly
In June 2019, recall campaign UGG21 was issued for five-door Toyota XP130 Yaris vehicles that were manufactured from 22 January 2019 to 7 February 2019. For the left rear door, the window glass may have been inadequately tempered due to an improper cooling process during manufacture. If the glass was broken, it would not shatter into small pieces as intended, but into large fragments or shards of glass – this could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision.
