Recalls: Volkswagen Mk7.5 Golf R

2018-19 Volkswagen Mk7.5 Golf R: rear head restraint
In March 2019, recall campaign 72H8 was issued for Volkswagen Mk7.5 Golf R vehicles that were available for sale in Australia from 21 July 2018 to 1 March 2019. In these vehicles, the welded connection of the rear seat bench may not have been correctly connected. In the event of a collision, the head restraint of the rear seat backrest that was installed in the vehicle may not be fully effective and this increased the risk of injury to an occupant.
