Overview

2021-22 Volkswagen T-Roc: engine cover could touch the turbocharger

In April 2022, recall campaign 10H5 was issued for 2021-22 Volkswagen T-Roc vehicles. Due to a manufacturing defect, the engine compartment cover may become loose. If this occurred, the engine cover may move and touch the turbocharger, resulting in smouldering damage or an engine bay fire. An engine bay fire increased the risk of injury to vehicle occupants, bystanders and/or damage to property. For the VINs of the recalled vehicles, please see REC-005418.
