Review: Daihatsu G300.I Pyzar (1997-98)
Overview
Released in February 1997, the Daihatsu G300 Series I (G300.I) Pyzar was a small, five-door hatchback. Manufactured in Japan, the front-wheel drive Pyzar was powered by a 1.5-litre GE-EG four-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, the Pyzar was available in two variants: GRV and GRV Xi.
The Pyzar was 4050 mm long, 1640 mm wide, 1600 mm tall and had a 2305 mm long wheelbase. Furthermore, the Pyzar had MacPherson strut front suspension and independent, dual link rear suspension.

Features
Standard features for the GRV variants included a four speaker sound system with a radio and cassette player, central locking and power mirrors.
The GRV Xi variant was further equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels and power windows; the GRV Xi could also be identified by its two-tone paint finish and rear spoiler.
Review: Daihatsu G300.II Pyzar (1998-00)
Overview
Released in September 1998, the G300 Series II (G300.II) Pyzar was fitted with a new 1.6-litre HD-EP four-cylinder petrol engine and the GRV Xi variant was discontinued. Visually, the G300.II Pyzar could be identified by its clear plastic lens headlights (previously refractive glass lenses), chrome grille, larger front bumper and air dam, new rear combination lenses and a new rear bumper.
