Review: Daihatsu L701 Cuore (2000-03)
Overview
Released in July 2000, the Daihatsu L701 Cuore was a light, three-door hatchback. Manufactured in Osaka, Japan, the front-wheel drive Cuore was powered by a 1.0-litre EJ-DE three-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to either a a five-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission.
The Cuore was 3410 mm long, 1475 mm wide, 1420 mm tall and had a 2360 mm long wheelbase. Furthermore, the Cuore had MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear axle.

Features
Standard features for the Daihatsu Cuore included a two speaker sound system with a CD player and 60/40 split and folding rear seats. From March 2001, the Cuore was fitted with power mirrors and an immobiliser. Air conditioning was available as an extra-cost option.
