Overview

Released in August 2011, the Great Wall K2 V200 utility was available in a dual cab body with rear- or four-wheel drive. Manufactured in Baoding, China, the V200 was powered by a 2.0-litre four cylinder turbo-diesel engine that was mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The 2.0-litre GW4D20 diesel engine featured common-rail injection, a variable geometry turbocharger, exhaust gas recirculation and a compression ratio of 16.7:1.

The V200 utility was 5040 mm long, 1800 mm wide, 1730 mm tall and had a 3050 mm long wheelbase. Furthermore,

  • Maximum payload for the V200 utility was 1000 kg;
  • Maximum unbraked towing capacity was 750 kg;
  • Maximum braked towing capacity was 2000 kg.

The V200 had double-wishbone front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension.

Safety equipment

Standard safety equipment included dual front airbags, ABS and electronic brake force distribution.

The V200 utility was fitted with ventilated front brake discs and rear drum brakes.

Features

Standard V200 features included 16-inch alloy wheels, a six speaker sound system with CD player, air conditioning, leather-trimmed seats, front fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, remote central locking, power windows and mirrors, a height adjustable steering wheel and an immobiliser.
