Overview
Released in July 2010, the Great Wall K2 V240 cab chassis was available in a single cab body and with rear- or four-wheel drive. Manufactured in Baoding, China, the V240 cab chassis was powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4-litre 4G64 petrol engine had a single overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 9.8:1.
The V240 cab chassis was 4825 mm long, 1800 mm wide, 1662 mm tall and had a 3050 mm long wheelbase; ground clearance was 194 mm. The V240 utility had double wishbone front suspension with a torsion bar and dependent, leaf spring rear suspension.
April 2011: Great Wall V240 update
In April 2011, the V240 dual cab introduced revised styling with more angular headlights and a larger grille.

Safety equipment
Standard safety equipment included dual front airbags, ABS and electronic brake force distribution.
The V240 was fitted with ventilated front brake discs and rear drum brakes.
Features
Standard features for the V240 cab chassis included 16-inch alloy wheels, a four speaker sound system with CD player, air conditioning, front fog lights, power mirrors, an aluminium tray and an immobiliser.
