Overview
Released in June 1996, the Mazda Eunos 500 was a mid-size, front-wheel drive sedan. Manufactured in Hiroshima, the Eunos 500 was powered by Mazda’s 2.0-litre V6 KF-ZE petrol engine – with double over head cams and four valves per cylinder – that was mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
The Eunos 500 was 4545 mm long, 1700 mm wide, 1355 mm tall and had a 2610 mm long wheelbase. Furthermore, the Eunos 500 had independent front and rear suspension with MacPherson struts, coil springs and anti-roll bars.
The Eunos 500 was initially offered for sale in Australia in 1992 under Mazda’s Eunos brand before being incorporated into the Mazda range.
