Overview

Released in Australia in 2013, the Morgan Aero Coupe was a two-seat coupe with a fixed roof. Manufactured in Worcestershire, England, the rear-wheel drive Aero Coupe was powered by a 4.8-litre V8 petrol engine that was mated to either a six-speed Getrag manual or automatic ZF transmission (the latter with selectable ‘Sport’ and ‘Auto’ modes).

With its aluminium bonded and riveted chassis, the Aero Coupe was 4147 mm long, 1751 mm wide, 1248 mm tall and had a 2540 mm long wheelbase; with the manual transmission, dry weight was 1175 kg.

Suspension

The Aero Coupe had cantilever front suspension with inboard springs and double wishbone rear suspension, while a limited slip differential was fitted as standard.
