Overview
Released in October 1994, the Peugeot N3 306 Cabriolet was a four-seat convertible with a power-operated soft-top roof. Designed by Pininfarina and manufactured in Poissy, France, the front-wheel drive 306 Cabriolet was initially available with a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that was mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. In February 1997, however, the range was expanded with the introduction of models with 2.0-litre petrol engines.
Dimensions and suspension
The N3 306 Cabriolet was 4144 mm long, 1689 mm wide, 1356 mm tall and had a 2540 mm long wheelbase. Futhermore, the 306 Cabriolet had independent front suspension with MacPherson struts, lower wishbones and an anti-roll bar; the independent rear suspension had trailing arms, transverse torsion bars and an anti-roll bar.
