Overview

Released in March 2012, the Ssangyong Q150 Actyon Sports was a dual cab utility. Manufactured in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, the Q150 Actyon Sports was powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine that was mated to either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. The Actyon Sports was available with rear-wheel drive or with a part-time four-wheel drive system that was electronically engaged and had dual-range gearing. The Actyon Sports range consisted of Tradie, SX and SPR variants.

D20DTR engine

The 2.0-litre D20DTR diesel engine had direct injection, a variable geometry turbocharger, double overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 16.5:1.

Body and dimensions

Compared to the Ssangyong Q100 Actyon Sports , the Q150 Actyon Sports was 25 mm longer (at 4990 mm), 10 mm wider (1910 mm) and 35 mm taller (1790 mm), though wheelbase length (3060 mm) was unchanged. Inside, the Q150 Actyon Sports was more refined with double-layer construction and soundproofing for the dashboard, a new engine cover and slanted engine mounts for reduced vibration.

Suspension

The Q150 Actyon Sports had double wishbone front suspension with coil springs and a five-link live rear axle.

Safety equipment

Standard safety equipment for the Q150 Actyon Sports included dual front airbags and front seatbelts with pretensioners and load limiters.

The Actyon Sports SX and SPR were further equipped with ABS, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability control and traction control.

Features

Standard features for the Actyon Sports Tradie included a four speaker sound system with CD player, MP3-compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming and auxiliary inputs (3.5mm/USB), air conditioning, front fog lights, Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, remote central locking, power windows and head mirrors, a trip computer and immobiliser. A tray-liner was also fitted as standard.

Beyond this, the Actyon Sports SX added 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Finally, the Actyon Sports SPR was further equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, climate control air conditioning, power adjustable and heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors, power retracting mirrors and an electrochromatic rear view mirror.
