Euro NCAP: 2009 Kia XM Sorento crash testing
In Euro NCAP testing, a 2009 XM Sorento with a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine received a five star safety rating, including an 87 per cent adult occupant protection rating and an 84 per cent child occupant protection rating. Based on technical information provided to ANCAP, the 2012 XM Sorento was assessed to provide comparable occupant protection.
