Euro NCAP: Peugeot 208 – crash and ESC testing
Since the Peugeot 2008 was almost structurally identical to the Peugeot 208, test results for the 208 were applied to the 2008 where the tests had not significantly changed since 2012. As such, Euro NCAP awarded the 2008 a five star safety rating which included an 88 per cent adult occupant protection rating and a 77 per cent child occupant protection rating. Under ANCAP’s methodology, this testing resulted in a five star adult occupant protection rating with a score of 34.03 out of 37.
