Overview
Released in March 2008, the Bentley Brooklands was a two-door, pillarless coupe. Production of the Brooklands was limited to 550 vehicles during its production run from 2008 to 2011. Australian deliveries, however, only occurred in 2008 and 2009.
V8 engine
The 6761 cc pushrod V8 engine had an aluminium-silicon alloy block, twin Mitsubishi low-inertia turbochargers, two valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 7.8:1. The six-speed ZF automatic transmission had selectable Drive, Sport and Semi-Automatic modes which were accessed by placing the gearlever into the sequential manual gear-selector gate.
